Apricot

Apricot is a free and open source media streaming backend and frontend app. It allows you host a backend database that can quickly serve your media files statically, accessible through a lightweight visual frontend.

The goal for Apricot is to act as a Netflix-like interface for you to watch and interact with your movies and TV shows directly from your home device. There’s future plans to allow users to connect multiple devices to one central backend that they set up, so you can stream from one central location to any device you like.
